About Uttaranchal:-
Uttranchal is extends from Tonse river in the west and Kali Ganga river in the east.
The two territories of Garhwal & Kumoun, referred as Uttranchal or Kederkhand in the ancient Puranas (scriptures). Uttrakhand is now a full-fledged state called Uttranchal, it comprises ten districts, Uttarkashi, Tehri Garhwal, Pauri Garhwal, Chamoli, Rudrapryag, Dehradun, Haridwar, in Garhwal regional and Nainital, Almora, Bageswar, Pithoragarh, Champwat, Udham Singh Nagar in Kumoun. Uttaranchal is bordered by two National borders (Himachal Pradesh & U.P) and two international borders (Nepal & China).
To the Hindu, Uttranchal is what the Holy Land of Jerusalem is to Christians and Mecca to Muslims. Two of the most holy rivers Ganges _ Ganga) & Yamuna originate from the snowy Garhwal slopes. These mystic mountains have been the meditation grounds- Tapo Bhoomi for seers and sages for hundreds of years. Uttranchal has always remained an integral part of India for its people, and a source of inspiration through the ages.

About Pindari Glacier & Laspa Dhura advance base camp trek:- 
The Pindari Glacier is a glacier found in the upper reaches of the Kumoun Himalayas, to the southeast of Nanda Devi. The most accessible glaciers in Kumoun region, Pindari is located at 3,820m in Patti Malla Danpur of Bageswar district of Uttranchal. The Pindari glacier is 3 km long and 0.25 km broad and is connected to the southwestern slope of the outer wall of the Nanda Devi Sanctury. The main peaks near the glacier are Nandakot (6880m) Nanadakhat (6611m), Pawalidwar (6663m), Baljuri (5922m) and Changuch (6322m) etc.
After Pindari if we climb further to Laspa Dhura advance base camp, you will get a spectacular view of “Mount NANDA DEVI MAIN (7816m) East &many other Peaks”. There is a small pond which reflects the amazing view of surrounding peaks.

SHUNDERHUGA VALLEY (3860M):-
This trek in Kumaon start from the village of Song, through Khati village,which lies at the confluence of Pindari & Sunderdhuga Rivers.
The route goes through thick forest &beautiful alpine meadows with snow bridge over the Sunderdhuga river.
Sunderdhuga means “The valley of beautiful stones. This Maiktoli & Shukhram & Baloni top the main peak are Tharkot (6100m), Mrigthuni (6856mt.) Maiktoli (6804mt.) & Panwalidwar(6663mt).
ROOPKUND TREK(5029MTS):-
Duration: 12/14 Days
Best season — May.
In the lap of Trishul massif. This area is usually called the mystery lake,since human Skeletons & remains of horses from the paleolithic age were found here. The lake is surrounded by rock –strewn glaciers & snowcap peaks .The starting point of the trek is Tharali.
ADI - KAILASH TREKKING – CUM – PILGRIMAGE TOUR: (4770MTS):-
Duration: 18/20 DAYS
Best season: JUNE—JULY, AUG—SEPT.
Mount kailash (popularly knows as Chota Kailash), is an ancient holy place in the Kumaon Himalayan range, similar to mount Kailash in Tibet. It is situated close to Indian – Tibet border in the district of Pithoragarh. The first seven days trek follows the same route as the pilgrimage to Mt. Kailash this route offers breath taking landscape & panoramas of the mountain range of Kumaon Himalayas- with the mighty splendours of the snow-capped API & Nampa, the gushing kali river, Bhojpatra, frosts the serene narayan ashram.
MILAM GLACIER (3438MTS& UPWARD):-

The base camp for Milam glacier is Munsyari (2290mts) in Pithoragarh district from Munsiyari the trek to Lilam is mostly downhill along the God Ganga river. Enroute, Bugdiyar to Rlikot is a thickly forested area from where the land opens in to the Gori Ganga valley. After crossing the God Ganga river & below Burfu village,one gets an uninterrupeted view of Nanda Devi & Hardeol peaks right up to Millam glacier summit at (3872mts) is the nodal point for a different high grade routes & peaks. The main peaks are Hardeol( 7151mts),Burphudhura(6215mts) Kalabulandhura (6215mts).
PANCHACHULI GLACIER (4260MTS):-
Nestling snugly in the lap of the snow capped peaks o
f Panchachuli, the darma valley in Pithoragarh district is endowed with abundant scenic grandeur. One hundred & thirty four kilometers from Pithoragarh & 35kms. From Dharchula is the last bus treminal Sobla is the enrty point of the Darme valley. In Sobla the trekkers put on their rucksacks & get ready for the various journey ahead. Here onward it’s a 35040 km trek that passes through dar, Bungling, Sela Nagling, Baaling & Duktu/ Dantu one gets the majestic spectacle of panchachuli that derives its name from the five peaks named after the legendary Pandavs.

MYTHS, LEGENDS AND LAKES SIMPLY HEAVEN…
NAINITAL:
Hindu mythology has it that the deep green lake (Tal means Lake) is one of the emerald green eyes of Hindu Godess Parvati, Lord Shiva wife. It is said that the modern Naina Deci at the northern end pf the lake is the exact spot where her eyes is said to have failen ,after Vishnu chopped up her body and scattered it all over the countryside to stop Shiva’s cosmic dance of destrucation.
NAUKUCHIATAL:
Just a short way out of Delhi, a toering statue of Hanuman announces the crossing of the sacred River Ganga at garhmukteshwar on the highway to the hills. Another tall Hanuman greets you when you finally pull over the last hill in to Naukuchiatal, a quite hideaway filled with birdsong and the promise of peace. Cradled by green mountain, this misty blue lake is fed by an underwater high. A single view of all nine corners of Naukuchiatal is said to best of nirvana upon the on look your holiday begins when you see the shimmering water of this lake waiting to explored by land, Sea and Air.
A huge statue of hanuman ,within the Mata Devi Vaishno Devi temple, is right the entrance to Naukuchiatal. Give thanks for your vacation after stooping through the artificial tunnel in the temple.
BHIMTAL:
This is alke your drive past to get to Naukuchital. One of the largest lakes in Kumaon.Bhimtal has legendary assocations with Bhima of Mahabharatra.
SATTAL:
Sattal a group of seven interconnected lakes set against a backdrop of oak and pine tress beyond which tower the Himalayas is a Kumaon’s lake district at 3,999ft. 23 km from Naintal.
